Whitewater Unified School District Robotics Booster to Host 3rd Annual Community S.T.E.A.M. Faire

WHITEWATER, WI — The Whitewater Unified School District Robotics Booster Club invites families, students, and community members to attend the 3rd Annual Community S.T.E.A.M. Faire on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Whitewater High School.

This event will feature hands-on exhibits, interactive demonstrations, and creative activities highlighting science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Designed for learners of all ages, the faire aims to spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and celebrate innovation across the community.

Admission to the event is $3 per person or free with a donation to Lakeland Animal Shelter. A list of suggested donation items is available on the Lakeland Animal Shelter website: https://lakelandanimalshelter.org/donate/wish-list/.

Students in grades K-12 are also invited to participate in the LEGO Home Building Challenge, which offers participants the opportunity to showcase their creativity and compete for prizes. Registration is required by Monday, May 4, and can be completed via the registration form: https://forms.gle/Pc52SPEGrG5LbCrT6.

“This event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate innovation and creativity across our district and beyond,” said WUSD Superintendent Samuel Karns. “We are proud to support events that highlight student creativity and bring the community together to explore, learn, and be inspired.”

Building on last year’s success—which featured 31 exhibitors and more than 350 attendees from Jefferson, Rock, and Walworth counties—this year’s faire aims to grow even bigger by showcasing innovative projects, local organizations, student achievements, and community talent.

The Robotics Booster is also seeking exhibitors to participate in the event. Local businesses, educators, hobbyists, students, and organizations are encouraged to host a booth, share demonstrations, and inspire attendees through interactive experiences.
