On the scenic grounds of SentryWorld Golf Course in Stevens Point, 32 outstanding student-athletes from across Wisconsin were honored by the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) on Sunday, May 4, for their exemplary academic and athletic achievements.
Among this prestigious group was Whitewater High School senior Jack Hefty, who was recognized as a 2025 WIAA Scholar-Athlete. Jack’s dedication to both his studies and his career as a cross country, swim, and track athlete has earned him a place among the state’s top high school student-athletes.
The ceremony featured a celebratory meal, remarks from keynote speaker Mike "Jacko" Jacques, and a special video tribute created by the WIAA to highlight each honoree’s accomplishments. You can view the video here.
